What summer fun is happening at Kids Club?

We know that exercise, socializing, and relaxation are all essential to living a healthy, balanced life. But how do you get the time to fit those things into your schedule when the kids are home from school?

You need support to take care of yourself so you can be the best version of you. Although the Paseo Club cannot provide you with an entire village, we can offer you Kids Club.

Kids Club daycare at the Paseo Club is led by qualified staff who love to play, guide, and nurture your child while you get a little “me time.”

The Paseo Club is a social club in the Santa Clarita Valley. We have been in operation for almost twenty years, supporting members of all ages in their journeys in health and wellness.

In this article, we will share what special activities Kids Club has available this summer, when Kids Club is open, and how to prepare your child to attend Kids Club.

Kids Club is the child care center at the Paseo Club that offers care for babies and kids. They provide children with enriching, fun, and joyful activities while parents and caregivers take some time for themselves.

At what age can children attend Kids Club?

Babies as young as three months old can visit the Kids Corner room. Once a child is four years old and is potty-trained, they can attend the Kids Club room. Kids up until the age of 12 can attend Kids Club.

What is happening at the Kids Club this summer?

Every day is a special day at Kids Club. This summer Kids Club staff have gone above and beyond to ensure your child will have a blast with a rotating selection of activities and themed days. These events will happen through August 5.

  • Sunny Sunday - Kids wear their favorite “sunnies” sunglasses!
  • Sporty Monday - Whether it’s baseball, football, or anything in between, kids wear a jersey and/or hat to represent their favorite team! Kids can partake in a few friendly games while they are at Kids Club.
  • Tattoo Tuesday - Kids can pick out a temporary tattoo of their choice.
  • Wacky Hat Wednesday - Who will have the wackiest hat of the day?
  • Dance Party Thursday - Let’s groove in Kids Club as we dance to all the party favorites!
  • Face Paint Friday - Kids can choose a design to have painted on their face or arm by our creative Kids Club staff!
  • Sticker Saturday - Kids can take home a cool sticker of their choice!

Kids Club hosts Play Dates and Date Nights once per month every month. These are themed events with special movie features for the kids. They are great opportunities for the kids to play, craft, see friends, and watch a favorite flick. Dinner is provided on Date Nights.

  • Play Date is for children ages 3-5 who are potty trained. The event runs from 2-5 pm and costs $15.
  • Date Night is for older children, ages 4-12. This event happens from 5:30-9 pm. It costs $25.

July: Fun in the Sun is the theme for July. Play Date was on July 2, and showed the film The Little Mermaid. There is still time to register for Date Night which is on July 28. The film Rio will be featured.

August: Superhero is the theme for August. Play Date will be on August 6 and the children will see the movie Bolt. Kids who attend Date Night on August 25 will view Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

September: This month brings the theme of Pirates! Pirate Date Night is on September 22. Kids get to watch Treasure Planet. Pirate Play Date is just two days later on September 24. Peter Pan will be the featured film.

Kids must wear proper footwear both inside and outside. Infants may wear socks, but they need shoes once they start walking. We recommend closed-toed shoes for all other children.

Children spend a lot of time playing outdoors at Kids Club. We recommend that children bring their own water bottle labeled with their name and that parents apply sunscreen before drop off.

Joining the summer fun at Kids Club

We know that making time to work out, catch up with a friend over smoothies, or get a massage is hard to fit in during the summer when the kids are out of school.

That is why the staff at Kids Club work hard to make the club a safe, welcoming, and fun place for your child. Every day is something new and exciting, making the Kids Club a place children look forward to going to.

The Paseo Club offers over 60 fitness classes each week, including the strength training class LIFT, barre, yoga, Pilates, and more. There are also courts for tennis and pickleball and a junior Olympic pool.

We also offer special programs for kids — summer camp, lessons, and fitness classes.
