What is happening at the Paseo Club during the Spring Season?

The most beautiful time of the year is upon us! The grass is green, the wildflowers are blooming, and the seasonal creeks are flowing.
To celebrate this gorgeous spring season, the Paseo Club has an incredible lineup of events for you. The Paseo Club team loves to host all types of activities throughout the year, and this article will provide you with a comprehensive list through Memorial Day weekend.
Whether you want to work on getting strong in a small group training program, compete in a tournament, support a local charity, or share a family meal, the Paseo Club has something for everyone!

When is the Spring Season?
Spring Season is the third season of the year and runs from April 15th through June 3rd.
If you, or someone you know, want to learn more about the Paseo Club, come to the open house on Wednesday, April 10, from 6 to 8 pm. The Paseo Club Open House is an opportunity to meet our friendly staff, tour our facilities, and learn about our membership options. Whether you're into fitness, swimming, tennis, pickleball, or just looking for a great community vibe, we've got something for everyone. Don't miss out on this chance to see why the Paseo Club is the place to be!
The Open House is for members and non-members and is FREE. No registration is necessary.
Events at the Paseo Club during the Spring Season
April 15: Summer Camp
The Paseo Club is hosting not one but two amazing camps this summer. Choose tennis or pickleball camp for children ages five and older. All levels are welcome. Kids will have a great time learning fundamentals, stroke improvement, strategy, and more. Free time will be spent swimming and having lunch. Younger campers have craft time, too.
Camp runs from June 10th - August 9th from 10 am - 3 pm. Extended care is available in the mornings and afternoons. Choose as many days of camp or as few — you get to make the schedule!
April 15: Tribe HIIT Core
This program combines the best from two great classes — Tribe HIIT EXTREME and Tribe Core Strength. You will build full-body strength and endurance while toning and stabilizing your core.
The small class size allows you to get more one-on-one guidance to help you have even better results! This program meets Monday and Wednesday nights at 6:00 pm. Register for one or two days. Learn more about Tribe.
The cost is $200 for two days per week for six weeks and $100 for one day per week for six weeks. Register for Tribe HIIT Core today!
April 15: Tribe Functional Fit
Tribe Functionally Fit is a perfect choice for tennis and pickleball players to keep you safe on the courts while doing what you love. Sessions are low-impact and use functional exercises designed to ensure you achieve all your needs to be fit for life.
Tribe Functional Fitness will ensure you maintain the correct intensity during workouts to decrease body fat, increase energy levels, and achieve cardiovascular fitness. The small class size allows you to get more one-on-one guidance to help you have even better results! Learn more about Tribe.
This program meets on Mondays at 8:00 am. The fee is $100 for one class per week for six weeks. Register for Tribe Functional Fit.
April 15: Greatest Results Transformation Challenge
The Greatest Results is a comprehensive program that supports you in succeeding in your fitness and nutrition goals. When you register for Greatest Results, you receive:
- Recipes
- Meal planning
- Nutrition education
- Personal guidance
- Supermarket field trip
- HIIT classes with cardio and weight training
- Three complimentary Pilates Reformer or small group training sessions.
This program is available to everyone, and all exercises are adaptable if you have an injury or ailment. Watch your progress with before and after measurements and performance testing. Join Greatest Results on Mondays and Wednesdays at 7:00 pm or Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 am. You may attend as many sessions as you like. It costs $300 for the six-week series. Register for the Greatest Results Transformation Challenge.
April 15: Blood Flow Restriction Training
Blood flow restriction training helps you build muscle faster, using less weight and it is proven by science! By applying restriction bands on your extremities while weight training, you will get results that will change how you exercise forever. BFRT is great for burning fat or rehabbing from an injury or surgery. Cut your workout time in half!
- Tuesdays at 7:00 am and Thursdays at 8:00 am with Coach Justin
- Fridays at 7:00 am and Saturdays at 11:00 am with Fitness Director Cezanne

April 15: Tighten & Tone: Glutes & Core Focus - NEW!!!
Join our newest fitness Coach Taylor for this awesome 2 in 1 class designed to build thick CAKES! Shape and tone your glutes while strengthening your core and shedding that stubborn belly fat.
These sessions meet Mondays and Thursdays at 10 am. Three packages are available for purchase. Classes are $15-20, depending on package purchase. Register for Tighten and Tone.
April 15: BURN Cardio Class - NEW!!!
Experience a cardio revolution like never before! BURN pushes the boundaries by blending rowing challenges, ski erg, sled push/pull/drag/row, suspension training, and battle ropes into one explosive workout.
Get ready to torch calories like never before and unleash your inner athlete. You’ll be left craving more with every sweat-inducing session! This class meets Mondays and Wednesdays at 5:00 pm. $15-20 per class, depending on the package. Sign up today!
April 15: Happy Hour at the Clubhouse (ongoing)
Starting April 15th, the clubhouse will host Happy Hour every Monday through Friday. After hitting it hard in class or on the courts, come to the clubhouse from 4-6 pm for affordable beers, wine, and well drinks, including the special seasonal drink “Spring Fever.” Tasty snacks from cheese boards to sliders and wings, are also available to accompany your drinks. April 15-May 19th: Spa Specials
Treat yourself to a delectable spa experience at the Paseo Club. Massage therapists Haruko and Tarra or esthetician Angie are available to help you look and feel great. This spring, they are offering Mother’s Day Specials.

April 16: Tribe HIIT Extreme
Tribe HIIT EXTREME is a high-intensity interval conditioning program designed for any committed individual regardless of experience, making it the ideal program. Tribe HIIT EXTREME will increase your strength and endurance, burn fat and calories, and produce functional, full-body results, leaving you looking and feeling amazing.
The small class size allows you to get more one-on-one guidance to help you have even better results. This program meets Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 5:30 am
You may register for one or two days. Learn more about Tribe.
$200 for two days per week for six weeks or $100 for one day per week for six weeks. If you need to make up a session you may attend a different Tribe Session. Register for Tribe HIIT Extreme.
April 16: Advanced Weight Lifting - NEW!!!
In this six-week program, learn how to do Olympic lifts, plyometric exercises, core work, and stretching with the College of Canyon's Strength and Conditioning Coach, Cayden Dunn. Each workout builds on the prior so make sure to come to all six weeks of class. Class is on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 pm. It costs $200 for the series. Register for Advanced Weight Lifting now.
April 16: Beginner Weight Lifting - NEW!!!
If you want to weight lift but don’t know where to begin, this is the class for you! Join Coach Cayden Dunn in learning the basics of Olympic weight lifting. You will learn how to squat, deadlift, and bench press, among other exercises.
Class is Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30. Class costs $15-20, depending on package purchase. Register for Beginner Weight Lifting.
April 16th: Warm Welcome Mixer
Come and enjoy visiting over cocktails and conversation with new and familiar faces at our seasonal club mixer. This FREE event is a casual evening and is the perfect chance to mingle, make new connections, and catch up with fellow members. Whether you're a new member getting your first taste of our club's welcoming spirit or a longstanding pal, we can't wait to toast with you.
Don't miss $2 Taco Tuesday! Delicious tacos and margaritas will be available for sale as well. Let's shake things up and have some fun at this spirited seasonal tradition! The mixer is from 6-9 pm at the clubhouse. RSVP by April 15th.
April 16: Taco Tuesday (ongoing)
Taco Tuesdays are back, Amigos! This Tuesday, and every Tuesday in the Spring Season feast on your favorite tacos! The cafe will be serving up $2 Tacos all night long! Choose from chicken, carne asada, or barbacoa served with freshly made salsa. Start with one, and before you know it, you've had a DOZEN!
What are tacos without a margarita (or two...or three)? Cool off with margaritas to complement those spicy kicks.
Arrive early to snag the best seats in the cantina. Taco Tuesdays is from 6 pm until closing. Round up your amigos and join us! No booking is required.
Wine Down Wednesday: April 17th, 24 and May 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
Need a break from the mid-week slump? Unwind with Wine Down Wednesday! Join us every Wednesday for our weekly socializing. It's the perfect excuse to pause, hang out with friends, and ease into the second half of the week.
Enjoy a full bar, lively music, small bites, and a welcoming atmosphere for relaxing and recharging. WDW begins at 6 pm at the Club House. No reservations are required.

April 17 & 19: Brews & Bites at the Pickleball Courts (ongoing)
The Paseo Club porch will be serving up food from the grill and drinks every Wednesday and Friday. The Challenge Court will be open, and there will be beer, wine, and cocktails to enjoy. 6-8 pm. No reservations are needed.
April 18: Pizza Night (ongoing)
Starting April 18, come to the Paseo Club cafe for pizza night on Thursdays! Pizzas are ready at 4 pm, and cost as little as $10 per pizza. Come to the club for swimming, pickleball, tennis, or your favorite workout, then stay for a family dinner! No reservations are needed.
April 19: Line and Wine
Join fellow members for this super fun and lighthearted outdoor dance class led by Fitness Director Cezanne Youmazzo. Learn the Cupid Shuffle, The Wobble, some country line dances, and more. No experience is required! Wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Line and Wine is free. Dancing starts at 6 pm.
April 19: Starter Grad Tournament
If you have participated in the Paseo Club Starter Tennis Program this year, you are eligible to participate in this FREE tournament to test out your new court skills! We will be meeting on Friday, April 19 to play in a round-robin style tournament with Coach KP helping to run things and answer all your tournament questions as you compete. Play begins at 7 pm and will run approximately two hours to enjoy all the fun! Register for the Starter Grad Tournament.
April 19: Spring Into Fun Date Night
Children can join the Kids Club staff for an evening of dinner, a movie, and fun with friends! Parents are welcome to go on a date night off the club premises while kids are in the care of Kids Club. Date Night is spring-themed and is from 5 to 9 pm. It costs $40 per child. Kids must be 4-12 years old and potty-trained to attend. Register by April 17.
April 20: Co-ed Junior Doubles Tennis Tournament
Tennis players ages 7 to 18 can join this round robin doubles tennis tournament. Check-in is at 12:30 pm, with the tournament running from 1 pm to 4 pm. Advanced beginners, intermediate, and advanced players can join.
It costs $35 per person to play. The entry deadline is April 14. An award presentation and pizza will follow the tournament. Contact Coach Gabe to sign up.
April 21: 100-Day Challenge Community Workout
This FREE bodyweight boot camp-style group class led by Fitness Director Cezanne Youmazzo will be on the stadium court. Enjoy the camaraderie of other participants in the 100-Day Challenge and get a great workout! This event is open to members and non-members. It starts at 8 am. Register for the Community Workout.
April 25: Girls Just Want to Have Fun 80's-themed class
This 80s-themed pop-up class taught by Fitness Director Cezanne Youmazzo and Fitness Instructor Heather Deffenbaugh will be a fun and lively high-low impact workout. Meet in the group ex room at 7 pm and then follow it up with an 80s-inspired drink at the bar and an 80s movie. $25 gets you attendance to the class, an 80s-inspired cocktail or nonalcoholic beverage, and the movie. Register for Girls Just Want to Have Fun.
April 26: Pop-Up Zumba Class
Warm up your body before you belt it out at Karaoke Night with this super fun dance-inspired Zumba Remix class! Join this FREE pop-up from 5:30-6:30 pm in the Group Ex Room. No registration is required, and guests are welcome.
April 26: Karaoke Night
Clear your calendars and warm up those vocal cords because our legendary Friday Night Karaoke returns on Friday, April 26th! Starting at 6:30 pm, you're invited to take the mic and sing your heart out all night long.
You know the drill — Karaoke Night is always a packed house — arrive early to snag the best seats! Drink specials are available all night. Get ready to dance and sing like nobody's watching!
April 27: Dink for Cause Spring Gala
The team from Dink for Cause is hosting its 2nd anniversary with a Gratitude Celebration on Saturday, April 27, from 6:30 to 10 pm. There will be a taco bar, cocktails, dancing, raffles, and fun! Purchase your tickets to join us. Tickets are $70 per person. This evening promises to be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the D4C community!
April 28: TOP 50s Tennis Mixer
TOP 50 Drill participants — we have a competition just for you! Introducing our first TOP 50 Tennis Mixer where the only requirement is to be 50+ years old. (Every 50+ Paseo member is welcome, not just drill attendees). All you need is a partner and we will group teams accordingly. This member mixer begins at 9 am and costs $30 per player. May 3: Trivia Night
Come to the pickleball porch with your crew at 7 pm for an evening filled with brain-teasers, laughter, and friendly competition! Whether you're a trivia buff or just looking for a good time, everyone is invited to test their knowledge on a variety of exciting topics.
Teams are six people and solo players are welcome. It costs $25 for a team and $5 for individual players. Bring your friends because guests are welcome. RSVP by May 2.
May 4: May the 4th Be with You Pickleball Ladderball
Dress as your favorite Star Wars character and be prepared to play a morning full of ladderball pickleball. Players of all levels are welcome, and no partners are needed. Rotate with new partners throughout the event. A costume contest will follow! There is a maximum of 32 participants, so register soon! May the 4th Ladderball begins at 9 am and costs $25.
May 5: “Dinko” de Mayo Firefighter Charity Tournament
LACFD is hosting a pickleball tournament to fundraise for Tunnel to Towers. The $50 entry fee covers the tournament, a margarita, and a T-shirt. This event is a fixed doubles tournament. The check-in is at 7:30 am, and play begins at 8 am. Register soon because it closes on April 28.
There are three divisions in the "fiesta". All divisions are open groups.
- Beginners 3.0 and below
- Intermediate 3.5
- Advanced 4.0 +
May 5: Cinco De Mayo Tennis Mixer
Hola, Paseo Club tennis stars! Cinco de Mayo is already around the corner and we are looking for YOU! All you need is a partner and we will group teams by level. 9 am start time and a complimentary Mimosa afterwards. Join the fun for $25. Register for Cinco de Mayo Tennis Mixer.
May 10: Zumba Charity Event for Single Mothers Outreach
Come and dance with us for a great cause! We will return to the Paseo Stadium Court to raise funds for the Single Mothers Outreach through our love of dance and Zumba. Join us whether you are a seasoned Zumba Diva or a complete beginner and bring your non-member friends!

This event is from 5-7 pm with dancing from 5:30-6:30 pm — be sure to get there early! Hydrate and socialize with other members at the bar after class.

May 10: Pajama Party Date Night
An evening of dinner, a movie, and fun with friends! Parents are welcome to go on a date night off the club premises while kids are in the care of Kids Club staff. The Pajama Party is from 5-9 pm and costs $40/child. Dinner is included. Children must be 4-12 years old and potty-trained to attend. Register by May 8.
May 11: Mother’s Day Brunch
Bring your mother, wife, sister, or friends to this lovely brunch on Saturday, May 11th. Seating is at 11:00 am. Menu highlights include:

May 19: National Hit to Get Fit Day
Whether you are a decades-long tennis master or you've never swung a racket, this fun-filled day is for you! We will be getting our workout on for the #paseo100days on the tennis courts with an exciting drill morning of cardio tennis, taught by our own Paseo Pros. This event begins at 9 am and is FREE. May 24: Movie Night - Grease (Adults Only)
Get ready to hand-jive the night away as we roll out the red carpet for the iconic musical film, Grease. This is one party you won't want to miss!
The fun-filled evening includes:
- Screening of Grease on our big screen
- Dinner featuring burgers, fries, and onion rings
- Movie treats like popcorn, candies, and more
- A spiked milkshake bar to keep you cool

May 26: 100-Day workout 5K Memorial Day Weekend Community Run
We will meet in front of the Paseo Club to run 3 miles on our beautiful Paseos behind the club. Members and non-members are welcome. The run begins at 8 am. Register for the 5k.
May 26: Aqua Zumba Training
Calling all Zumba instructors! This training is just for you. To become an Aqua Zumba instructor, you need a B1 certificate.
Eliza Stone (ZES) will be conducting the training at the Paseo Club Tribe Room and swimming pool. Come prepared for a full day of training from 8:30 am to 6 pm. The fee is $230.00 for the day-long training. Register for Aqua Zumba training.

May 27: Pickle Pong Tournament
Join us in a two-person team pickle pong tournament! The rules are similar to beer pong. Get the ball in all of your opponent's cups before they fill yours and you can move on to the next round in a double-elimination tournament!
Pickle Pong begins at 9 am and costs only $15. Both partners must sign up individually. Register for this fun event today!
May 27: Memorial Day Tennis Round Robin
Come to the Paseo Club for a Memorial Day Tennis round robin. Sign up with a partner, or come solo. The cost is $25 to play. Afterward, stick around for our Memorial Day BBQ and DJ by the pool!
May 27: Memorial Day BBQ
Dress in red, white, and blue, and join the Paseo Club community for a Memorial Day BBQ! Celebrate with family and friends at the club on Monday from 11 am to 2:30 pm! Pricing for food and drinks will be available at the bar on the day.
This year's menu features:

- Flavorful tri-tip
- Delicious sides
No reservations are required. Simply show up and enjoy the festivities! Don't forget to bring your swimsuit and take a dip in the pool to beat the heat.
May 31: Karaoke Night is Back! Don't Miss Our Most Popular Event!
Come down to the pickleball porch and showcase your singing talents (or just sit back and enjoy the performances)! Karaoke Night at the Paseo is an unmissable evening of music, fun, and maybe a little embarrassment! Doors open at 6 PM
