What is happening at the Paseo Club during the Summer Season?

Summer is upon us, and it is time for fun in the sun. The Paseo Club is the place for working out, relaxing, swimming, socializing, and grabbing a tasty meal or refreshing drink. 

When you need a home away from home for your family, the Paseo Club is here for you. We have kids camps and classes, rec swim, several fitness classes, and great times on the pickleball and tennis courts.

The Paseo Club is excited to share about the Summer Season lineup with even more great events, activities, and tournaments than ever before. Grab your calendar and check out this season’s offerings.

Events at the Paseo Club during the Summer Season

The spa at the Paseo Club is staffed by three talented people who can provide you with an array of massage and esthetic services. Whether you are looking for a facial to tighten and cleanse your pores or you need a deep tissue massage to help you recover from a tough workout, these ladies have you covered.

From June 1-August 31 they are offering these delightful specials:

June 1: EAT.DRINK.LOCAL

Santa Clarita’s annual food, beer, wine, and music festival is almost here....and the Paseo Club is proud to announce that we are a sponsor! All proceeds go to support the homeless children in the Hart School District. 

We will be line dancing, playing pickleball, and hosting competitions — so don't miss a fun day to support YOUR community. This free event is held at Central Park and is from 2 to 8 pm. Learn more about EAT.DRINK.LOCAL.

June 1 & 2: Dink for Cause 3rd Annual Round Robin Pickleball Tournament

Sign up for an exciting fundraiser and pickleball tournament at the Paseo Club. The club is teaming up with Dink For Cause to help raise funds for NMDP (Formally known as Be The Match). 

  • Women’s and Men’s matches will be on Saturday, June 1st
  • Mixed matches will be on Sunday, June 2nd
  • Registration fee for one event: $70
  • Second Event Fee: $30
  • Plus $5 service fee per event

Cash prizes for first, second, and third-place winners. Register to play!
Spectators are welcome to watch and cheer for their favorite teams!

The Paseo Club offers an incredible array of small group training programs. These classes are tailored to people who want to challenge themselves while guided and encouraged by trained fitness coaches. Each class builds on the one prior, so you are sure to get more fit. Class sizes are small, and you can receive plenty of undivided attention. Take your fitness seriously and attend small group training! All classes are $15-25, depending on the package purchase.  

June 3: Tribe HIIT Core
This session combines Tribe Extreme HIIT and Tribe Core Strength for an awesome strength and endurance HIIT conditioning program. Available to everyone, regardless of fitness or experience. Increase your strength and endurance and burn fat. Register for Tribe Hiit Core.
When: Mondays and Wednesdays at 6 pm 

June 3: Tribe Functionally Fit
Paseo Tribe Functionally Fit is a low-impact class that uses functional exercises designed to keep you fit for life. Learn the correct intensity needed during workouts to decrease body fat, increase energy levels, and improve cardiovascular fitness. Register for Functionally Fit mornings or Functionally Fit evenings.
When: Mondays at 8 am and 5 pm and Wednesdays at 5 pm

Join our newest fitness coach Taylor and get ready to sculpt, tone, and build your body, ignite your core, and shed stubborn belly fat as you move through dynamic exercises using strength training and lower-intensity movements. Register for Tighten and Tone.
When: Mondays and Thursdays at 10:00 am 

June 4: Tribe HIIT Extreme
Tribe HIIT Extreme is a strength and endurance HIIT conditioning program that will increase your strength and endurance, burn fat, and produce full-body fitness results! Register for Tribe HIIT Extreme.
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 am

June 4: Advanced Weight Lifting
This is a progressive program so you can learn Olympic lifts and plyometric drills with the College of the Canyon's Strength and Conditioning Coach, Cayden Dunn. Register for Advanced Weight Lifting.
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 pm 

June 4: Beginning Weight Lifting
Learn the basics of strength and conditioning using barbells, dumbbells, and kettlebells with College of the Canyon's Strength and Conditioning Coach and Paseo Club Trainer Cayden Dunn. Come to class on Register for Beginning Weight Lifting.
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30 pm

June 4: Footwork and Mobility for Tennis and Pickleball Players
Join this class if you want to play racquet or paddle sports longer, lift heavier, and jump higher. This session will focus on footwork, range, strength, and flexibility in multiple planes. Register for Footwork and Mobility.
When: Tuesdays at 7:30 pm

June 4: Summer Shred Teen & Young Adult Fitness Class - NEW!
This class is for 16-25 year olds and involves core, strengthening exercises, cardio, and nutrition consultation. If you want to feel the best at the beach this summer, this is the class to attend! Register for Summer Shred.
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:30 pm

BFRT helps you to get leaner, more toned, stronger, and lose weight fast and keep it off. This class helps you to strengthen your cardio system. Use it to rehab from surgery. Cut your workout time in half with restriction bands. Register for Blood Flow Restriction Training.
When: Tuesdays at 7 am, Thursdays at 7 and Fridays at 7, Saturdays at 11 am

June 4: Greatest Results - Summer Slim Down (Drop-In)
Stay motivated throughout the summer and keep your body shredded in this special drop-in session of Greatest Results. This class focuses on great workouts with an emphasis on health and nutrition. Register for the Greatest Results.
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:30 am

June 5: Tribe Core Strength
Paseo Tribe Core/Strength is a training program designed to bring strength and power to your core, leaving you with a slim waistline and firm strong abs. It also incorporates flexibility and stability training to achieve structural longevity and pain-free movement. Register for Tribe Core Strength.
When: Wednesdays at 8 am

June 5: Pilates Reformer Blood Flow Restriction Training
Experience the best of both worlds by strengthening and lengthening with Pilates while using blood flow restriction cuffs. BFRT helps you get leaner and toned quickly, build muscle faster, get stronger with less weight, and lose weight. Register for Pilates Reformer Blood Flow Restriction Training.
When: Wednesdays at 7 am

June 7: Friday Night Pilates Reformer Classes - NEW!
Come to Pilates to lengthen and strengthen your body while bringing more flexibility and mobility to your joints. Choose a 4 pm or 5 pm option. This class is an all-level reformer class with our newest Pilates instructor Nicole Huey. Attend Pilates after work and then stay for dinner and drinks.

Enjoy your summer by coming to the clubhouse for Happy Hour every Monday through Friday from 4-6 pm for affordable beer, wine, and well drinks. Check out our seasonal special the Vodka Lemon Spritzer — only 94 calories per drink! Tasty snacks, from cheese boards to sliders and wings, are also available to accompany your drinks. June 4: Taco Tuesday (ongoing)

This Tuesday, and every Tuesday in the Summer Season, feast on your favorite tacos! The cafe will be serving up $2 tacos all night long! Choose from chicken, carne asada, or barbacoa served with freshly made salsa. Have one or have a DOZEN! 

What are tacos without a margarita? Cool off with margaritas to complement those spicy kicks. Taco Tuesdays is from 6 pm until closing. Round up your amigos and join us! No booking is required. 

June 4: Member Mixer 

Get ready for a fresh start as we usher in a new season with our much-awaited member mixer at the clubhouse! Warmly welcome new faces and catch up with our seasoned members over drinks. This event falls on Taco Tuesday, so come hungry for $2 tacos and margaritas!

The member mixer begins at 6 pm and is just for club members. Register for the event, and you'll receive a complimentary drink ticket valid for wine, beer, or a soft drink on the night. Arrive early to take advantage of our happy hour specials.

June 5: Brews & Bites at the Porch Bar (ongoing)

The Paseo Club porch will serve up food from the grill and drinks every Wednesday and Friday. The Challenge Court will be open too. Brews and Bites is from 6 to 8 pm. All members are welcome and no reservations are required.

Need a break from the mid-week slump? Unwind with Wine Down Wednesday! It's the perfect excuse to pause, hang out with friends, and ease into the second half of the week. 

Enjoy a full bar, lively music, small bites, and a welcoming atmosphere. WDW begins at 6 pm at the clubhouse, and the music starts at 6.30 pm. No reservations are required.

June 6: Pro Exhibition Series

The Paseo Pro Exhibition Series will feature former ATP, WTA players, and current ITF / D1 College players duke it out every Thursday night in Doubles as well as Singles matchups. Members can watch this event for free. Drinks Specials at the clubhouse and colorful commentary by our MCs will make the night a blast. The series starts June 6 at 6 pm. We are hoping for at least six matchups over the summer.

June 6: Pizza Nights (ongoing)

Come to the Paseo Club cafe or bar for pizza night on Thursdays! Pizzas are ready beginning at 4 pm and cost as little as $10 per pizza. Come to the club for swimming, pickleball, tennis, or your favorite workout, then stay for a family dinner! No reservations are needed.

Join us every Friday starting June 7th, as we transform our poolside into a cinematic paradise under the stars. Food and drinks are available and you can come early for a swim. Bring your floaty for lounging in the pool and a blanket for staying cozy while watching the film.

This is a members-only event and is completely free. Movies begin at 8. Reservations are encouraged but not required.

June 7-9: Paseo Classic Pickleball Tournament

National Pickleball is hosting a three-day pickleball tournament at the Paseo Club from Friday, June 7th to Sunday, June 9th. 

There are already over 200 players registered so be sure to book your spot or risk losing out! The cost is $85.00

  • Saturday - Mixed Doubles
  • Sunday - Men's Doubles, Women's Singles

June 8: Saturday Brunch (ongoing)

Saturday brunch is here for the summer! Check out the new menu at the cafe to see the delectable choices. Dine by the pool or on the patio. No registration is required — stop by and order your food at the bar or cafe. Brunch begins at 10 am

Summer Break Activities at Kids Club will return this year. Fun events are planned daily during regular childcare hours, including creative activities and dress-up days. There are no additional costs. Reservations for childcare can be made by contacting Kids Club.  

June 10: Save a Life & Donate Blood

The Red Cross is asking for our help! From 10 am to 4:30 pm, The Red Cross is setting up a mobile blood donation site in the Paseo Club parking lot. All donors who make a reservation and arrive with a photo ID will receive a $15 eGift card.

June 14: Pinot and Pilates

Come to this fun social class, and bring your friends, spouses, and partners! This event begins with an all-levels reformer Pilates class followed by two glasses of wine or one cocktail and appetizers. This event costs $40. Register for Pinot and Pilates

June 14: All-Star Sports Date Night

Bring your child to the Kids Club for an evening of dinner, a movie, and fun with friends! Parents are welcome to go on a date night off the club premises while kids are in the care of staff. This Date Night is sports-themed. It runs from 5 - 9 pm and costs $40 per child. Dinner is included, and children must be 4-12 years old and potty-trained to attend. Register by contacting Kids Club

Calling all Paseo Club dads and families! Let's kick off the Father's Day weekend with a splash and a sizzle! Join us for a Father's Day Pool Party & BBQ on Saturday from 12-4 pm. 

Dive into a day of poolside games and relish in mouthwatering barbecued and smoked meats accompanied by delicious salads. It's a celebration of dads, family, and good times!

Register adults for $35 
Register children for $22 (3-10 years) 

Kids under 3 are free. Ticket sales are final. Non-member guests can register here

June 16: Color Wars 

Come to the Paseo Club and enjoy a tennis favorite — Color Wars!  Teams will be assigned four different colors, and we will duke it out for a day of fun and competition. Color Wars starts at 9 am and the fee is $45 to participate. Sign up to play!

June 21: Pop up Hula Hoop Class

Join Jen Shuper for a fun Hula Hoop class on the Pavillion. This class is great for fun and fitness and helps to improve coordination and core strength. 

Hula hoop class begins at 5:30 pm. There are only 14 spots available, so sign up soon. This class is FREE!

Clear your calendars and warm up those vocal cords because our legendary Friday Night Karaoke returns on June 21st. You're invited to take the mic and sing your heart out all night long. Karaoke starts at 6:30 pm. 

Karaoke Night is always a packed house — arrive early to snag the best seats! Drink specials are available all night. Get ready to dance and sing like nobody's watching! No fees and no registration are required.

June 23: The Dink & Drink - Flirtatious & Fun Mixer

Get ready for a night of fun, flirting, and friendly competition at The Dink & Drink Mixer! Join us for an exciting evening of pickleball play, delectable shared cheese boards, and a glass of wine (included in the ticket price). We've got 12 single ladies and 12 single men waiting to meet their match!

This event is from 5:30 - 7:30 pm and costs $45 per ticket. Register by June 21. Spaces are limited, so book your spot in advance. Don't miss out on this chance to mingle, play, and sip your way to new connections! 

June 28: Spring Pickleball League Party and Award Ceremony

Join the Paseo Club’s pickleball league players at 6 pm for a party and award ceremony. This event is free for members and non-members and will take place at the patio and bar. It will last for one hour and there is one free drink ticket per league participant. No registration is required.

Come to our last 100-Day Community Workout and sweat it out with friends and fellow members one last time. Celebrate your success and collect your 100 Days of Fitness shirt! The workout is at 8 am on Sunday and is free. Register here.

July 1: 100 Days of Fitness - Part 2

You couldn’t get enough of 100-Days of Fitness? Well, we have you covered! The Paseo Club is starting a second 100-Day Fitness Challenge. 

This fun challenge begins July 1 and ends December 31. The goal is to get an average of four workouts per week for six months. Pickleball, tennis, walking, classes, self-led workouts, and swimming all count. You don't have to be a member to participate! Register by signing up here.

July 4: Independence Day Celebration

Have a great day at the Paseo Club’s 4th of July celebration! Don your best red, white, and blue attire, and let's celebrate America's birthday in style. 

Join us on July 4th from 10 am to 3 pm for a day filled with poolside fun and mouth-watering BBQ delights. It's the ultimate Independence Day bash! 

The cost includes lunch, a popsicle, and a sparkler. Friends and family are welcome to join.

July 4: Independence Day Tennis Mixer

We can't wait to celebrate the fourth with you! Kick off your 4th of July celebrations with a competitive tennis round robin! Sign up with your favorite partner, and we will work to balance the competition.  

In addition to plenty of fun and the chance to win a patriotic medal, you'll also receive a drink ticket to use in the clubhouse! The cost for this event is $25. Play begins at 9 am, check-in is at 8:30. Sign up to play and stick around for our BBQ by the pool! 

July 4: Pickleball Color Wars

Come out before the BBQ and play an awesome pickleball tournament of Color Wars. All levels are welcome to play at this event and no partners are needed.

You will be randomly assigned teams and then try your best to earn your team as many points as possible in the Color War! Each team is assembled with players of varying levels so there are even matchups. The top, mid-range, and lower-level doubles play against other similarly-ranked pairs for great competition.

It costs $45 to play. Check-in is at 8:30 am and the event begins at 9 am. Sign up here.

This is a fun social class to attend with your friends, spouses, and partners. Begin with an all-levels reformer class followed by two glasses of wine or one cocktail and appetizers. Pinot and Pilates cost $40, and you can register here. 

July 12: Under the Sea Date Night

Bring your child to Kids Club for an evening of dinner, a movie, and fun with friends! Parents can go out for some fun off the club premises while children are in the care of Kids Club staff. This event is ocean-themed. Date Night is from 5 - 9 pm and costs $40 per child. Dinner is included. The child must be 4-12 years old and potty-trained to attend. Register by contacting Kids Club

July 13: Summer Smash Pickleball Tournament

Come to this exciting pickleball tournament at the Paseo Club. It will be played in a round robin format with a bracket finish. It will be played on outdoor hard court surfaces using Franklin X balls. This event is DUPR-rated. There are medals for first, second, and third-place winners per division. The cost is $55 to participate, plus a $5 site fee and includes one drink. Register to play

  • 6 teams per division
  • 8:30 am - Men’s doubles 3.0, 3.5, 3.5(50+), 4.0+
  • 11:00 am - women’s doubles 3.0, 3.5, 3.5(50+), 4.0+
  • 2:00 pm - Mixed doubles 3.0, 3.5, 3.5(50+), 4.0+

July 19: Line & Wine with Cezanne

Join fellow members for this super fun and lighthearted outdoor dance class led by Fitness Director Cezanne Youmazzo. Learn the Cupid Shuffle, The Wobble, some country line dances, and more. No experience is required! Wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Line and Wine is free. Dancing starts at 6 pm — bring a friend because non-members are welcome! No registration is required.

July 26: Karaoke Night

Clear your calendars and warm up those vocal cords for Friday Night Karaoke. Starting at 6:30 pm, take the mic and sing your heart out.

August 9: Knights and Princesses Date Night

Kids Club is open to children 4-12 years old for date night. While you are out having fun in the town, your child can enjoy dinner, a movie, and fun with friends in the care of Kids Club staff. This event has a medieval/fairytale theme. Date Night is from 5 to 9 pm and costs $40 per child. Children must be potty-trained to attend. Contact Kids Club to register.

August 10: Paseo Club Open House

Save the Date! The Paseo Club will host an open house on August 10th. It is going to be a full day of activities and opportunities to try out everything the club has to offer. More information is coming soon!
