What are the Color Wars at the Paseo Club?
Color Wars is a team event for pickleball players of all levels to play and work together.
There are four separate color-coded teams — black, white, red, and blue. Each team has a combination of advanced, intermediate, and beginner-level players. Once the teams are arranged, they will play against other colored teams.
At the end of each round, all points are tallied and reported as teams battle to take the gold medals.
How are the Color Wars organized?
Each team is assembled with players of varying levels so there are even matchups. The top, mid-range, and lower-level doubles play against other similarly-ranked pairs for great competition.
Coaches Seth, Tyler, Sumi, and General Manager Jen Azevedo will select the teams and oversee the games.
When and where are the Color Wars?
This year’s pickleball Color Wars will take place on June 24, 2023, at the Paseo Club. Play begins at 9 am. Lunch will be served midday after the champions are crowned.
