The true cost of visiting a spa in the Santa Clarita Valley

September 2nd, 2024 | 3 min. read

By Jen Azevedo

Many of us daydream of hours spent luxuriating at spas while every need and whim is tended to. But the reality is most of us do not do a great job practicing self-care, often telling ourselves we are too busy and too broke to go to a spa.

Taking time to relax and rejuvenate is greatly underestimated. But the process can actually be one of the most effective tools to reduce stress, minimize tension, and boost your mood. And in this day and age, who doesn’t need that?

The Paseo Club is a social club in the Santa Clarita Valley that offers fitness, Pilates, tennis, pickleball, and swimming facilities. There are several amenities at the club, including childcare, dining, and an onsite spa.

Massages and facials are the most common spa treatments selected by customers. In this article, you will learn about all of the spas in the Santa Clarita Valley and the costs for these treatments.

Making time for yourself in Santa Clarita

Patronizing a spa isn’t indulgent. Research proves that spa treatments measurably improve your health.

NYU professor of psychiatry Virginia Sadock, MD. reports, "Going to a spa is a way of getting taken care of that is psychologically and culturally acceptable -- and we can carry that feeling of being cared for with us for a period of time, and very often that can help us cope better with stress."

Additional benefits include:

  • Reduced pain
  • Improved sleep
  • Reduced stress
  • Fewer sick days

Let us not forget that for many people, especially on the heels of Covid, the therapeutic touch of an esthetician or massage therapist may be the only touch they receive.

The Paseo Club wants you to live your best life — which is why there are so many ways to be active, socially engaged, and relax and unwind. Whether you are hitting it hard in Tribe class, stretching and breathing in Pilates, or recovering from a game of tennis at the cafe, there are many ways for you to enjoy the Paseo lifestyle.
