Top 10 ways to get involved at Paseo Club

Whether you are a new member of the Paseo Club or a member with many years under your belt, you may not know how many different ways there are to get involved at the club.

Paseo Club is not just a gym or fitness club. Paseo is a social club with vast options and resources for you.

In this article, you will learn about all the different classes, social events, and select resources Paseo offers. By the time you are done reading it, you will know all the ways you can participate at Paseo and connect with your fellow members.

Top ways to get involved at Paseo Club

The list below is based on all the ways you can be a part of Paseo. They are not listed in any particular order.

1. Fitness classes

Many of you know that Paseo offers a diverse collection of fitness classes. But did you know that each week there are over 60 different classes to choose from?

You can select strength training, cardio, running, cycling, yoga, mat and/or reformer Pilates classes. The best way to learn about the current class schedule is to look at the fitness calendar. You can also reserve your spot there.

Many classes have close to 20 members in them.  But there are small-group class options if you are looking for a more personalized experience.

2. Private training

Whether you want to lose weight, get stronger, or have greater endurance and stamina for your favorite sport, Paseo can help you achieve your goal. Private trainers offer one-on-one coaching for teens as young as 14, adults, and seniors.

Personal trainers offer customized programming to meet you at the fitness level you are at with a clear plan of action to get you to the fitness level you want to reach.

Personal trainers are an extra expense but it is one of the most effective ways to get in shape quickly. The cost for a personal trainer is $75-100 per hour, depending on the trainer.

You can hire a personal trainer for pilates, yoga, water aerobics, strength training, or triathlon training.

3. Junior-Olympic pool

The pool is one of the most popular places at Paseo Club. It is kept at a comfortable 82 degrees year-round. You can select from a wide range of activities there.

  • Private training: If you have certain technical skills you want to practice, then a private tennis or pickleball lesson will give you focused attention to help you to get the results you are looking for.
  • Leagues: Over 200 members participate in tennis and pickleball leagues.
  • Youth training: Kids as young as three can begin tennis lessons at Paseo. The youth tennis program is available for kids up to the age of 18.
