The Paseo Club has been a centerpiece of the Santa Clarita Valley for more than twenty years. The foundation of the club is to provide you with everything you need — tennis and pickleball courts, pool, gym, and social life — for living your best life in the SCV.
The Paseo Club’s team is dedicated to providing personalized attention to every person who walks through the doors. We seek to share all the great features and resources of the club and attend to any questions or concerns.
An instrumental part of becoming a member of the Paseo Club is to have an in-person tour of the club with someone from the membership team. There is so much to discover at the Paseo Club, and a tour is the perfect way to learn about many club features.
However, not everyone needs to meet with the membership team or get a tour before they join the Paseo Club. Maybe they were a member before or have visited the club as a guest. Does this describe you?
Whatever your reason, the Paseo Club now offers a second option to become a member. It is a quick and simple solution — online purchasing.
In this article, you will learn more about our traditional approach to welcoming new members and our new option of becoming a member via our website.
How have people traditionally become members of the Paseo Club?
The traditional membership model at the Paseo Club is designed to help new people become a part of the community through conversation and an in-person tour of the club.
Interested parties can contact the membership department through an online inquiry or when they visit the club as a guest. Someone from the membership team can answer questions and schedule a tour of the club.
The tour generally takes about 20-30 minutes and includes a walk to all corners of the property. Prospective members visit all the fitness areas, pool, tennis and pickleball courts, cafe, and kids club childcare center. It is a great time to ask questions, meet staff, and visit with club members.
Following the tour, you complete your membership process, download the app, and schedule appointments for a free fitness assessment and starter classes for tennis and pickleball.
What is the new way people can become Paseo Club members?
The Paseo Club membership team is pleased to announce that people can become members quickly and easily by purchasing a membership online.
With only four simple steps, you can become a Paseo Club member in minutes, with access to all the club’s services and amenities the very day you sign up.
- Go to the Paseo Club website
- Click the “Join Now” button in the upper right corner
- Complete the form for your specified membership type and purchase
- Accept a follow-up call from the membership coordinator to add family members and complete your profile. Then we will help you download the Paseo Club app, schedule your free fitness assessment, and sign up for starter tennis and pickleball classes.

- 5-pack of Pickleball Drills
- 5-pack Tier ll Tennis Drills
- 5-pack Pilates Reformer/Small Group Training classes
- 1 month of Childcare at Kids Club (For babies three months old through children age 12)

How do new members learn more about the different departments at the club?
There is a wide and diverse range of ways to be active and engaged at the Paseo Club. Therefore, once your new membership is set up, you’ll hear from the different departments of the club. This will help you take advantage of all the fun available to you!
- General Manager Jen Azevedo will introduce herself and say hello. She’s at the club daily, so she is a great person to get to know!
- Fitness Director Cezanne Youmazzo will contact you to tell you about your free initial fitness assessment. She will help you navigate the Group Exercise schedule, explain all the Small Group and Personal Training options, and show you around the gym.
- Tennis Director René Heger will help get you on the courts. Whether it’s the amazing Starter Program or getting introduced to your new USTA Captain, you’ll integrate yourself into the Paseo tennis scene quickly.
- Pickleball Director Tyler Shaffer will introduce you to the world of pickleball with drills, events, and drop-in times to fill your calendar.
The Paseo Club team will continue to check in with you periodically to make sure you are taking advantage of all the fun that is available to you. They are also accessible if you have any questions or concerns.
Can people purchase an online membership and still get a tour of the club?
Absolutely!
Purchasing a membership is a commitment. We value taking the time to make you feel comfortable with that commitment. If you are not already well-versed with the Paseo Club and its layout, a tour is highly recommended to see all eight acres of our facility.
