Choosing a personal trainer at the Paseo Club
Receiving one-on-one attention with a professional trainer helps you to learn new movements, achieve goals, and stay accountable to consistent, progressive, exercise.
You can work out with your trainer once or many times a week. They often outline exercises you can do when they are not with you and can guide you in optimal nutrition. Trainers have flexible schedules so they can accommodate your availability.
Here are some questions you can ask when you meet with a personal trainer for the first time:
- How long are the sessions?
- What is your area of expertise?
- How do you track my progress?
- Can you help me with meal planning?
- How often do you recommend we meet?
- What can I expect in the first few weeks?
- What are your fees? Do you offer a volume discount?
- Can you write out fitness programs for when we are not working together?
- Have you worked with people like me? (Specify age range, athletic ability, injury recovery, etc.)
The Paseo Club is a social club in the Santa Clarita Valley with personal training, small group training, and over 60 group fitness classes available each week. We also have comprehensive tennis, pickleball, and swimming departments so you can enjoy being active in multiple ways.
