The New Year is almost here, which makes it the perfect time to reflect on the year prior and develop goals for the following twelve months.
Do you want to spend more time in nature? Practice greater patience with your children? Travel abroad to a new and exciting destination?
We all have different and unique goals. But, let’s face it, most goals are about implementing a better exercise routine.
Research shows that 48% of people choose improving fitness levels as their New Year’s resolution, making it the most popular choice.
Creating a plan to get more fit and healthy is admirable, but the determination and discipline to succeed can be difficult to maintain. Whether you get bored, frustrated, or too busy, there are dozens of obstacles in your way.
The Paseo Club is a social club in the Santa Clarita Valley that emphasizes fitness, health, and community. We know that making change isn’t easy — especially when you try to do it on your own. That is why we created the 100-Day Challenge.
In this article, we will share with you how you can stay supported, motivated, and accountable in the New Year so you can achieve success!
What is the 100-Day Challenge at the Paseo Club?
The 100-Day Workout Challenge is a six-month-long commitment to complete 100 workouts. This averages four workouts per week. This event is from January 1 through June 30th, 2024.
You can exercise in a gym, on the paseos, on the courts, in a studio, at home, or just about anywhere else. All types of exercise are considered workouts, but they must be a minimum of 45 minutes in duration.
- HIIT
- Yoga
- Barre
- Biking
- Tennis
- Pilates
- Zumba
- Running
- Pickleball
- Lap swim
- Weight lifting
- Walking/hiking
- Water aerobics
This program will lend you peer support, encouragement, and the opportunity to join community fitness classes. It's time to rev up your fitness journey and make these next six months a testament to your dedication and progress!
How does the 100-Day Challenge work?
There are three distinct components to participating in the 100-Day Challenge.
1. Meet Your Weekly Goal
Complete four workouts each week. This comes to a total of 100 workouts in six months. Remember, each workout brings you closer to your fitness triumph!
2. Share on Social Media
Post every workout you complete on your social media using #Paseo100days. Your progress inspires others and fuels the community's motivation.
3. Enjoy Community Connection
Get ready to inspire and be inspired! Our 100-Day Facebook page is where you can share motivational quotes and experiences. Support each other through this exhilarating challenge!
What are the benefits of joining the 100-Day Challenge?
Joining a challenge helps you to stay motivated long after the typical 6-week drop-off. Having a community of people to share this experience keeps you engaged and inspired.
Being a part of a group improves accountability. Everyone working together in the challenge makes it fun. The National Institute of Health states, “...strongly identifying with an exercise group predicts greater participation in physical activity and increased exercise-specific satisfaction.”
There will be FREE monthly community fitness events such as 5k walks/runs and bodyweight boot camp classes that will meet at The Paseo Club. This will help you meet other participants and enjoy the camaraderie of a group workout
What are the group workouts available to the 100-Day community?

Achieving your goals in fitness and health
Getting fit isn’t about working harder and suffering more. Becoming healthier and fitter is a lifestyle involving physical activity, good food choices, and a community to sweat with, laugh with, and be encouraged by.
The 100-Day Challenge is a platform to help inspire you to meet your goals while inspiring others to succeed in theirs. By committing to a six-month-long challenge, you are giving yourself the time and support to create new habits (and maybe even develop a new understanding of yourself and your capacity).
The Paseo Club crew knows that variety is the spice of life. That is why we offer over 60 fitness classes each week, plus options for pickleball, tennis, and swimming.
Membership grants you access to all eight acres of the club. So whether you are excited to try HIIT for the first time, want to mobilize with yoga, or find your inner weight-lifter, we have you covered.
Members also enjoy the cafe, full-service spa, and several social events hosted at the club each month.
If you are not yet a member, this is an incredible time to join. Schedule a tour of the club and make the Paseo Club your home away from home.
