Performing Pilates on a reformer machine activates every muscle fiber in the body for a comprehensive mind-body workout. Because of how comprehensive it is, Pilates has become an incredibly popular form of exercise.

If you are in the Santa Clarita Valley, you may wonder where to find a great Pilates studio near you. But when you search for answers, the list of choices can be overwhelming.

The Paseo Club is a social club in the Santa Clarita Valley that has a range of options for supporting your fitness needs, including daily reformer and mat Pilates classes. The Paseo Club staff have been teaching Pilates for over nine years and over 600 members attend Pilates classes each year.

But we recognize that doing Pilates at the Paseo Club is not for everybody. There are a lot of other great choices in Santa Clarita and we want to help you find the Pilates studio that is best suited for you.

In this article, we will share with you where you can find the best reformer Pilates classes in the Santa Clarita Valley, a description of the facility, and the cost of the classes. Read on to learn more.

comp_IMG_6297What is a Pilates reformer machine?

The Pilates reformer is a piece of equipment designed by Joseph Pilates that looks like a bed with springs. It has a sliding carriage, ropes, and pulleys.

People can do a wide variety of exercises on the reformer by pushing or pulling the carriage or holding the carriage steady. You can perform the exercises lying down, sitting, or standing.

Reformer Pilates classes are proven to build strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance, which makes them a perfect workout for people of all ages and abilities.
