We are excited to welcome Kim Perino as The Paseo Club’s new General Manager.
Kim has over 30 years of club management experience. He has served as general manager to some of the finest private clubs in the country, including the Riviera Tennis Club in Pacific Palisades, the Jack Kramer Club in Palos Verdes, and the San Francisco Tennis Club. Kim most recently worked for the Sports Club/LA Company in a general manager capacity.
Mark Tropeano, our General Manager since 2008 has decided to pursue other career objectives and is handing the reins of the club over to Kim Perino on March 7th. Mark has been instrumental in driving improvements in our club’s Food and Beverage offerings as well as delivering the new Fitness building in 2009. We all wish Mark the very best in his future endeavors.
A Southern California native, Kim began his club career in 1975 as a teaching pro at the legendary John Wayne Tennis Club in Newport Beach while in college. After his graduation from Long Beach State, where he played varsity tennis, Kim managed private clubs in Houston, Honolulu, the San Francisco Bay area, and Southern California. In 1995, Kim returned to school and earned his MBA from Pepperdine University. He has also received formal club training with ClubCorp, the largest operator of private country clubs in the world.
Kim is excited about joining The Paseo Club staff and plans to create ‘the ultimate private club experience’ for our members through enhanced personal service and increased programming. Be sure to stop by The Paseo Club soon and introduce yourself. He’s looking forward to meeting all of our members personally – and making sure that The Paseo Club continues to be “Where Life is Good!”
