Katy teaches private lessons and assists in our Junior Academy. Her intensity and passion for tennis and helping players reach their potential are a terrific combination for players of all levels and ages. Katy began playing tennis at the age of ten and was a top ranked junior in Southern California throughout her career. She also played 4 years at Westlake High School, winning multiple honors such as MVP, All-League and ALL-CIF. After high school, Katy continued playing on The University of Portland Tennis Team where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, with an emphasis in sports psychology. Playing Division I tennis, she beat many of the nation’s top players. Since graduating from college, she has taught with Top Seed and now lives in Valencia with her husband, Brad, and their two girls, Elle and Isla.
